Forética is the leading member-driven business network on corporate social responsibility in Spain and Latin America. A non-profit organization, headquartered in Madrid, its multi-stakeholder membership includes more than 200 including companies – from PLCs to SMEs, academia, NGOs and individuals.

Forética’s mission is to foster a culture of sustainability, responsibility and accountability amongst major companies with the aim of promoting competitiveness and job creation. We believe that long-term business success has to be coupled with sustainable development and shared value creation.

Forética is the national partner organization for Spain of CSR Europe, and a member of its Board of Directors since 2008, as well as an associate member of ABIS, the Academy of Business in Society. Since this September is also the Spanish national partner of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). Forética is also an Organizational Stakeholder of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and a member of Forum Empresa in the Americas. In Spain, Forética is an appointed member of the State Council on CSR as a knowledge expert and a founder of Spainsif, the Spanish Forum on Responsible Investment and also a member of its Board.

German Granda is also member of the board of EBEN Spain (European Business Ethics Network in Spain). He has a Degree in Economics and Business Administration fromCUNEF (Spain) and a secondDegree in Political Sciences and Sociology byUNED (Spain). He has a Master in Business Strategy & Environmental Management by the University of Bradford (UK) and several postgraduate certifications such as the MIT Sloan Executive Certificate in Strategy & Innovation or the Management Development Program (PDD) from  IESE Business School.
