Alistair is a Senior Counsel for Bechtel’s global civil infrastructure business, based in London. His role involves handling contentious matters, litigation and legal involvement in ethics-related issues across many international jurisdictions and with a particular focus on Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Alistair is also involved in the day-to-day project execution of many of Bechtel’s civil infrastructure projects across the world.
Prior to joining Bechtel in April 2011, Alistair was a Partner in the Construction and Engineering team at Taylor Wessing LLP where he advised on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious construction and engineering matters with a focus on domestic and international dispute resolution. He also spent nine months working in DGXV of the European Commission and was involved in studies into harmonization of EU Intellectual Property Law.
